Welcome to Mind Space Cafe!
This is a place of love, kindness, and stillness.
My name is Angela Mary Vaz. I am a 32-year-old Illustrator and Blogger living in Bangalore, India, with my partner and 2 darling dogs.
I received my Psychology and Human Relationships degree from the University of Toronto in 2022.
Initially, I started this blog to help women who were in a bad place either because their careers weren’t going as expected or they were feeling lonely because they were single or couldn’t make friends.
Eventually, the blog became more focused on self-love and self-care, as that is what people really loved on my blog.
I also occasionally enjoy writing about makeup, skincare and books.
I’ve been married once (the entire relationship lasted for 9 years) before I discovered that my partner was cheating on me with a married woman. After my divorce and another painful relationship, I was single for a long time before I found love.
I learned a lot of lessons during that time.
Apart from love, I was looking for peace. I genuinely love my work, and talking to people is something I truly adore. Mind Space Cafe was started to provide peace and answers.
This blog is for people who just want to heal.
It’s for people who are looking for solace and comfort.
Most of my articles are based on my real-life experiences with people.
During this enlightening journey, I have come to realize that less is indeed more, and I am proud to say that after twenty-nine years of relentless searching, I have finally found peace and joy. I am finally content with my life and exactly where I want to be.
This blog is dedicated to all men and women searching for that eternal bliss and peace they so desperately need.
You will learn how to slow down, evaluate what is working and what isn’t, and, most importantly, live your dream life because you are worth it.
I hope you find love and peace if you’re in a toxic relationship or have just come out from one. You don’t necessarily need to find it with someone else – love exists within you.
Nothing is set in stone.
You are not defined by what has happened to you or your mistakes. You have the ability to change.
That is why the present is called The Present. It’s a gift we are given. And our life purpose is to make the best use of the time we are given.
You have what it takes:
- To become a better person.
- To improve your life and influence others with your kindness and positivity.
If at all you have any more ideas for blog posts you would like to see; please leave a comment at the end of any blog post.
I respond to every single one.
Love and peace to you,
Angela
